Ground Granulated Blast Furnish Slag

Ground Granulated Blast Furnish Slag (GGBS) is considered as suitable substitute of cement for their improved physical and chemical attributes.  GGBS is used along with Portland cement for producing better quality concrete. This blast furnace slag contains aluminum silicates and calcium. Stable chemical properties and long shelf life are some of the key aspects of this range of slag. Particles of this slag is finer than the particles of Portland cement. Powder obtained form this range of slag has off white color and it has around 2.88 specific gravity. Dispersing characteristics of this array of slag and Portland cement is same.
